You can purchase beautiful bowls made by local artists, and all proceeds will help provide weekend meals for students who would otherwise go without. The exhibit is open online September 25-27, and in person at Panera on S. Campbell on September 28 from 3:00-7:00 p.m.

If you have any questions, or you're an artist who would like to join the exhibit, contact Sarah Green at sgreen@ozarksfoodharvest.org for more info.

Go Orange Day

September 10, 2020

On Sept. 10, thousands of hunger heroes across the country and here in southwest Missouri will go orange in an effort to raise awareness of the issue of hunger in the United States.

Join us with these ideas:

  • Wear orange. Volunteer during September to receive a shirt for just $5! You can also wear orange socks or an orange tie to let everyone know that you are fighting hunger.
  • Light up your front porch. Use an orange lightbulb to show your support.
  • Post on social media. Use #HungerActionMonth and #HungerHeroes to let your friends and family know you support our mission. Remember to tag Ozarks Food Harvest in your posts!

We’re excited to see how you go orange this year!

Aprons are significant to me because they represent special memories—like my grandma. She wore one for cooking, cleaning, gardening... she wore on most of the time. I imagine the women who wear the aprons I have and thank them for their good work.”

Empty Bowls with Panera

September 18-30, 2020

Purchase ceramic and wooden bowls online to benefit The Food Bank through this year's Empty Bowls event. The first 250 donors will receive a coupon for a bowl of free soup and piece of bread from Panera, and two lucky donors will be chosen to receive free bread or bagels for a year.
